Its football time at HYAA! We are excited about our upcoming football season. Sign-ups for cheerleading and football will be held on Saturdays July 10, July 17, and July 24 from 10am – 2pm and Tuesdays July 13, July 20 and July 27 from 6pm - 8pm. The cost for cheerleading is 100.00 and includes a complete uniform. The cost for football is 100.00 dollars and this includes pants, shirt, decals, socks, and jersey. You will need to purchase all protective gear for your child including shoulder pads, helmets, and pads for your child’s pants. Practice starts the first week of August and the season goes through early November.
HYAA is one of the founding members of the Scenic City Youth Football League. This league is a competitive but fair league that was founded so that every child would get to participate in every game and so children would get to play against kids their own age. The scenic youth football league has grown to over 1500 kids ages 5-12 and includes multiple recreational parks. We are looking forward to another great season at Hixson.
